ADA Statement of Compliance:

Arts Horizons has for many years been sensitive to the needs of people with disabilities and has been at the forefront of programming both for audiences with special needs and by artists with disabilities. It is our belief that the arts can widen the horizons of children with disabilities in ways that are unparalleled in other methods of learning. It is our intent to continue working to assure inclusion for all and eliminate barriers that prevent full access to the arts for everyone. Arts Horizons does not discriminate on the basis of disability in admission or access to, treatment of or employment in its services, programs or activities. We are ever mindful of the importance of providing arts programs both by and for people with disabilities. Upon request, accommodation will be provided to allow individuals with disabilities to participate in Arts Horizons’ services, programs and activities. While the above laws mandate equal access to people with disabilities, Arts Horizons makes it a priority to develop goals and strategies that go beyond the letter of the law to establish a work place and environment that embraces the spirit of the law, continually finding ways to increase program accessibility and ensuring an optimal experience for all. Upon request, information will be made available in alternative formats such as Braille, large print, audiotape and/or computer disc.
